Steeped in Samurai Culture

Mugen-an is a splendid samurai house which was moved from Kanazawa to Yamanaka Onsen during the Taisho era (1912-1926). Showcasing the high level of Japanese architectural technology at the time, Mugen-an has managed to preserve the atmosphere of the samurai era. The small garden offers exquisite views of the nearby Korogi Bridge and the verdant Kakusenkei Gorge.
