Handicrafts Park

Surrounded by lush greenery, Yunokuni no Mori is a park dedicated to Japanese handicrafts. It consists of Japanese traditional wooden houses spread out over a wide swath of forest, offering various hands-on activities such as Kutani-yaki painting, gold leaf pasting, stencil dying and soba (buckwheat noodles) making. The houses also display and sell works made by local artisans. Visitors can also take a stroll along the promenade which spans the vast premises.
