Beyond Kaga

Conveniently set midway along the railway connecting Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka, the Kaga City area is not only a major tourist centre, but also serves as a gateway to exploring the adjoining region.
Although renting a car is the most convenient way to see the area, it is also possible to reach destinations by train or bus from JR Kaga Onsen Station, and it is only a 30-minute ride to Kanazawa by express trains.
If time allows, why not go and see one of Japan’s UNESCO World Heritage sites such as a celebrated Zen temple or a breathtaking seascape?
