Respite from the Buzz of the City
Natadera Temple in Komatsu City, established in 717 by priest Taicho, is a perfect place for those looking for beautiful temple architecture and gardens without the big crowds. This time-honored temple has several halls including a main shrine and treasure hall, a bell tower and a three-storied pagoda, plus forests, ponds, caves and rocky hills. The ground is covered with lush green moss and seasonal flowers add colour to the scenery. In autumn, maple trees turn beautiful shades of yellow and red.
